Restore and Strengthen: An All-Levels Yoga Practice
This practice is supportive for all ages and all bodies:
- Those experiencing chronic pain, stress, or tension
- Beginners or individuals with physical limitations
- Athletes seeking balance and faster recovery
Somatic Yoga is a gentle, mindful movement practice designed to reestablish the connection between body and mind. Blending gentle yoga postures with slow, intentional movements, this style helps participants release deeply held muscular tension, enhance flexibility and strength, and cultivate a greater sense of ease.
Through breath awareness, internal focus, mindful and therapeutic movement, students often experience reduced pain, improved posture, and an enhanced sense of overall well-being—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
My teaching style is intuitive and responsive, grounded in listening—to myself, to you, and to the intentions we’re holding together. I’m drawn to somatic practices for how it deepens the connection and understanding between the body and the mind.
My goal is to support you in developing greater self-awareness and ease in your body. Through mindful movement, breath, and stillness, I aim to help you notice positive shifts in how you move through life—both physically and emotionally—and to build greater resilience in managing stress.
I am trained in Restorative Yoga, Aerial Yoga, traditional Hatha Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, and a variety of meditation techniques.
