Surprise Community Sound Collective Night-Bhakti, Sound & Soma 5th Thursdays
December 31 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Event Navigation

This is part of the Bhakti, Sound and Soma Thursday gatherings hosted by Mokshajyoti of Moss and Moksha.
Every 5th Thursday, we open the space for a special community-created gathering — an evening shaped by the gifts, talents, and medicines that live within our collective. Each month will look a little different, depending on who steps forward to share.
Possibilities include drumming circles, guest musicians, sound artists, poetry and spoken-word readings, expressive arts and movement practices, storytelling, song offerings, contemplative practices inspired by Indigenous and ancestral traditions, or any heart-led contribution that supports connection, healing, and creative expression.
This night celebrates the beauty of community wisdom. You are welcome to participate, witness, or simply receive.
What to Expect:
- A unique offering each 5th Thursday
- Drumming, chanting, poetry, expressive arts, or collaborative sound
- Guest artists or facilitators from our community
- A warm, inclusive space where all identities and lineages are respected
- Communal sharing, reflection, and connection
- A co-created container shaped by presence, curiosity, and generosity
