Boundaries 101 Workshop
May 22 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Event Navigation

The word “boundaries” has gotten a bad rep in the past, having been associated with harshness, hurting people’s feelings, and inhibiting close connection. I am inviting you to unlearn this association and suggest a new meaning. Boundaries can be healthy and help us maintain our inner peace because it is an act of honoring our needs. When we feel respected with the help of our boundaries, we feel safe to show up more authentically in our relationships which can lead to even deeper connection. Respecting someone’s boundaries is agreeing that we are not entitled to that person in any way. When we feel free in our relationships, we feel loved, and when we feel loved, we want to love.
In this workshop you will learn how to tune into what your boundaries are, how to effectively and respectfully communicate them, how to process the fear and guilt that may come up with it, and how to deal with others who refuse to respect your boundaries. I will lead you through some different exercises that will empower you through self-discovery and learning tools that will help you practice asserting your boundaries in your personal relationships.
If we have time at the end, there will be Q&A.
