This six-class series will present a solid basis for development of a personal Qigong (chee kung) practice. Building chi/energy through brief standing meditations and then regulating that energy through a few simple moving forms. Other skills developed are balance and flexibility. As preventive medicine, Qigong is one of the oldest and most complete systems of healing. Practicing slowly, over and over, the body unlearns inefficient tension of years and discovers a more natural, easy strength ~ thereby conserving and building energy for health and longevity. Our focus will be on Kidney/Water/Winter transitioning to the Liver/Wood/Spring.
The practice can also be done from a seated position – chairs provided. Feel free to contact Rose with any questions or concerns.
