Moving from surviving to Thriving. I am celebrating increasing safety as the numbers of cases have flattened and our hospitals have emptied of cases. This is a blend of contact improvisation and fusion dances. I will be playing some favorite downtempo tunes that can inspire movement without driving it. $10-$15 plus a healthy snack for the potluck. Please refrain from bringing sweets and bring food that will nurture us over 3 hours of dancing. After giving it some serious thought I have become comfortable in offering a mask optional space for this event. Make your own choices. This has been a vaccinated and boosted dance in the past yet I am ready to include everyone that is free of cold, flu or Covid symptoms and has no recent known exposure to someone with Covid. Feel free to bring your mask if you like and use it to your comfort level. Even if you are thinking you might not want to wear one you may want to bring it anyway in case someone you are excited to dance with is only dancing with masked dancers. We will have a cross ventilation with open windows and a nice warm comfortable studio with heated cork flooring.
