Rebecca Winnick is our newest practitioner at Awakenings.

Rebecca offers Therapeutic Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and Chakra Balancing.

Previously working at Green Lake Health Center in Seattle, Rebecca is adept at working with a variety of clients with various medical issues, as well as mental health support. She loves working with the nervous system, fascia system, lymph system, energy system, and the interface of mind and body. As a brain cancer survivor herself, Rebecca enjoys working with and offering support to others struggling with cancer.

Rebecca graduated from Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in 2021, and holds a lvl. 3 certification in MLD through the Dr. Vodder school. She studied health science and envronmental science at Evergreen State College (BSc 2012), and chemistry at UBC (MSc 2017).

Rebecca’s other interests include music, dance, and Iyengar Yoga. She is a square dance caller, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and often includes concepts from Iyengar Yoga in her bodywork sessions.
